GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Gorilla trekking is a major activity in Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park which is located in southwestern part of Uganda. Besides Gorilla trekking, Bwindi forest is also well known as the best destination in  the whole of Africa for bird watching, with over 345 species of birds recorded. The forest has the highest record of Albertine rift endemics birds hence graded as number one birding spot in African continent. Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest is done all year round, although there are some season whereby most tourist prefer to do their trekking. There are two rain season and two dry season in the year, and most tourist prefer to do their gorilla trekking during dry season especially between June and August, and October to march. the rest of the period is regarded to be rain season where the turn up of visitors is always low. This is because photography is best in dry season than rain season.
