1 Day Uganda Gorilla tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, home to a half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. This is an interesting trip that will be full of fun as you track and meet the famous and endangered mountain gorillas. It will start and end in either Kabale or Kisoro town. This 1 day gorilla tour to Bwindi in Uganda will take you gorilla trekking in Ruhija sector or Rushaga the southern sector of Bwindi forest.

Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is a recognized UNESCO world Heritage site since 1994 because of its exceptional biodiversity. This park was gazetted in 1991 and from then a number of gorilla families have been habituated for tourism but these can be accessed from the different sectors of the park.

All the different sectors carry out gorilla trekking in a similar way for example same gorilla permits costing USD 700 and only one hour allowed with the gorillas but they differ in the number of families habituated, the location and the ease of access.

Detailed Itinerary:

1 Day Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park Uganda & Gorilla tracking. (Approx. 4 Hours)

In the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked off from your Hotel by one of experienced tour driver/ guide. Who will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, a home to the endangered Mountain gorillas via Katuna border. You will arrive in good time to attend the briefing about the DO’S and Don’ts of gorilla trekking, then after, be allocated to the gorilla family then set off together with Park ranger guide who will take you through the whole experience. You will be allowed a maximum of one hour with the gorillas. On return from tracking, your driver/guide will transfer you back to Kigali and drop you at the Airport or your place of residence or Hotel
